SECRET #1: Always Take Full Responsibility For Your Life

"If it weren't for _______ I could have succeeded." Never blame anyone or anything else for what happens to your own life. By doing so, you are effectively "handing over control of your life to that person and saying go ahead, you have more control over my life than I do!" Successful people don't buy into this victim approach to life. They know that in order to become successful, they must take control and go after what they want.

SECRET #2: Live Your Life With Purpose

A large percentage of the most successful people on earth truly believe that they are doing what they are meant to be doing with their lives. An effective way to find out if you're fulfilling your purpose in life is to ask yourself this question:

Do I thoroughly enjoy what I do to the point where it has to be done perfectly or I'm not satisfied?

If you answered the above question negatively, you must first find a cause in which you truly believe, and build a business around it. Your success will be virtually guaranteed!

SECRET #3: Are You Willing To Pay The Price For Your Dreams?

One major difference between successful people and everybody else is: Successful people find out what it's going to take to turn their dreams into reality; then they find a way to make it happen. You never hear them complain about how much work it is because they know that what they're doing is worth it! They pay the price now and reap the rewards later.

SECRET #4: Stay Focused No Matter What

With the constant bombardment of details and tasks involved in our daily lives, staying focused is probably the hardest thing we will do. Spend as much time every day as possible focusing on reaching your goals. Build this into a habit. Always do something every day to bring you closer to achieving your overall goals and dreams.

SECRET #5: Build Credibility For Yourself As An Expert In Your Field

Do some research on several successful people and you will find that every one of them is constantly striving to become better at what they do. Make yourself an expert in your field, learn more than the competition, keep one step ahead of the pack and let people know it!

SECRET #6: Always Have A Written Plan For Your Goals And Dreams

Begin with your ultimate goal. Write it at the top of a sheet of paper. Next, give yourself a time frame in which you expect to achieve your goal. Break it down into 5 year, 1 year, monthly and weekly segments. Within those segments, list what it is you will do within each time period to get results. And lastly, stick to, or strive to outdo your plan. Whenever you make a major breakthrough, reward yourself.

SECRET #7: When The Going Get's Tough, The Tough Get Going! Never Quit!

Perseverance, Perseverance, Perseverance! "Giving up" or "I can't" are not words you will find in a successful persons vocabulary. If you want it bad enough, you will be prepared to do whatever it takes.

SECRET #8: Procrastination - Your Biggest Enemy!

Don't delay, tomorrow never comes. You only have today to make a difference in your own life and in others. The best time to take action and put your plans into motion is right now.
